Bio Evan Wolff

 

Evan serves as director of the firm's homeland security practice. His practice focuses on homeland security, including chemical security regulatory compliance, SAFETY Act, corporate internal investigations, corporate compliance and governance, congressional investigations, cyber security, and environmental audits and compliance. He has significant experience in the area of infrastructure protection and a broad background in the areas of homeland security, environmental regulation and compliance, and national security. Evan also advises companies on computer network and security issues and coordinating investigations after intrusions and data breaches.

Evan joined Hunton & Williams after serving as an advisor to the senior leadership at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other US government agencies. At DHS, he served as a special assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection. From 2003 to 2007, he held the position of principal homeland security policy analyst/project manager to The MITRE Corporation.
